I’m curious about how you mounted these also. I have basically the same GMC hooks laying around, but have also considered these.

No Ragerts so far. Nice and quiet and feel generally more planted on the ground. Taking them out in the wilds next month, that will be the true test.

I've liked my AVS AeroSkins. The only issue is that it uses double sided tape to attach directly to the hood. If you ever removed it, you might have an issue with paint? Can't really tell you if they did anything to protect the hood or windshield. My Gen-2 had so many chips on the hood, that I bought the shield to cover them up ;) I liked the look (I am pretty old) so I put one on my Gen-3 when I got it.

I had a shinny smooth finish one on my Gen-2

And have the matt finish one with the "Bump" on my Gen-3

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I've had them out a few times on rock, mud, dirt, logo deep water, and have been pleased. Only disappointment was blowing a sidewall on a rock after I made it over the obstacle. Sliced in two spots, not much to do about it.

Kinda fits here, since I can do my own tires now! They’ll be my test for the machines...

First, don't listen to 'em. (Turning down the hearing aides helps! :D)

I have the Weather tech and love it. Nice distance off the hood, easy to clean behind, and no drill. Second pic shows the gap between the hood and deflector.20210224_145644.1.jpg 20200506_135702.jpg

Went ahead and threw on some 285/75/16 KO2s on to my Raceline Scouts. Been running this set up for a little under a week. Definitely experiencing some rubbing at full turn and anytime the truck is super articulated on rough roads. Will definitely be cutting and heat gunning a lot of the plastic out of the way.
