3 day severe hangover on my second Moderna shot.

 

That's a funny side effect of the $shot

 

I have had a running theory that I had the virus before it was cool to have it. Back in 2019 around Thanksgiving I came down with a nasty bug and was beat up for about 2 weeks. I went to see a doctor and they said 'you have an unknown virus that will take about 18 days to run its course. There's no medicine we can give you.' and they sent me on my way. I had a terrible cough and really bad congestion. Anytime I would eat and often times just out of the blue I would go into a coughing spell where I could barely catch my breath from choking. It was pathetic. My wife and I had just spent a week in Disney World so I likely picked it up traveling. Maybe I was patient zero

 

You're not the only one....my wife and i had caught something during thanksgiving of 2019 as well. At first we thought it was a stomach bug since it started with stomach issues first. Then after the fever started we went to the walk in clinic and got flu swabbed and all was negative. Started out as a stomach issue then came cough, body aches, and chills a few days later. Had low grade fever for a week before it stopped and a lingering cough for almost 6 weeks. doctor told us it was an unidentified flu epidemic hitting our area at the time and they didn't know what strain it was. Wife lost her smell and taste for two weeks as well. A bunch of coworkers also had the same thing at the same time, so you're not the only one with the theory.

edit: forgot to mention my wife would have the coughing spells like you said. she had severe asthma as a kid so i think that played a part. i had asthma as kid too but i don't think mine was as bad. i didn't get the coughing fit like she did

 

0-2 with Fidelity's Customer Service. They are persistent that they will not waive the $75 transfer fee. And for the warrants. He told me there is nothing they can do. I just leave them with Fidelity and have until 4/8/23 to exercise my right to buy shares at $2.75...

Natural immune reaction - your body is recognizing a foreign/invasive thing and is trying to fight it. If you've never had it, your body recognizes it and starts to build antibodies for it on a "lite" method since it's "just" a protein that it's fighting and learning. Second round, it knows it and kicks it in high gear. Fever is your body warming up and trying to bake it to kill it.

If you had the virus and your body built antibodies for the proteins, then you'll get that same reaction for the first dose, in theory.





Crypto is working for me but everything else is mediocre. I'm waiting for that whip to crack - especially on oil, I have a contingent stop loss at 70$ for XOM. Just sitting here, waiting....

Yes, But they also found that being vaccinated after getting Covid helps clear up lingering Covid symptoms. It basically teaches your body how to clean out all the leftover garbage.

 

This is what I like about morningstar. It handles buys and sells a lot smoother than yahoo. So you can actually see and track performance over time, not just "how am I doing today". Yahoo doesn't like sales as much.

Downside - Morningstar doesn't have crypto, and doesn't handle options contracts in tracking. Boo hoo.

 

Do you remember which level of customer service you talked to? The first guy who answered claimed he could only assist with things like changing my email or account access. Both times I’ve been transferred to a margin specialist and they both would not waive the fee

 

I do not, but I remember them being really friendly. I think I said "new account questions" in the phone thing to get to someone.

 

It was just a margin specialist I think. He said no problem and put the form through

When I told the wife I was going fishing after getting the shot, she thought I was taking the kayak out. I may be stupid, but not stupid enough to go out on a small boat in a 70 foot deep pond after getting a experimental vaccine. I'll stick to the dock and shore line for at least a week or two.
