So, like most of people on TW I am going to make my taco "unique" by adding my touch to it. More than likely it will end up just like someone else's build. Oh well, mainly I'm posting my build on here to get some constructive criticism and any helpful tips. So I'll start with how it was the day I brought her home.

2011 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab TRD sport 4x4, nothing snazzy, just the basic package.....although I dig the hell out of the back up camera.

So Far all I have done is remove the TRD stickers from the bed, debadge, then reapply some of them just in flat black, along with the toyota badge in the grille. I've ordered seat covers front and back from Marathon in real tree ap green, and a stubby antenna from Antennax. I should recieve both of them in about a week I'll post pics when they arrive. And put in a K&N drop in filter for the time being. The stock air filter was enormous to say the least and I doubt the truck was breathing well.

    On the To Do
Small lift (5100's, unsure of which coil tho)
    black rims
    TRD Cold Air
    TRD exhaust
Detroit True Trac (for the great weather during hunting season)
    Avid Off Road front Bumper
    265/70/ Dayton Timberline AT's
Front window tint (match the back ones)

Mods will be bought and put on slowly but surely. I'm an active duty Jarhead so getting time to put all this on is hard to come by.

thanks fellas, I went with the pyrite hoping that it would be different, plus it looks great dirty and hides any scratches that might show up. So far no scratches thank god......my PTSD might resurface if i find one. Already have a dent in the tailgate the size of a dime thanks to the neighbors trash can at 4am......me and him are no longer friends.

if it were my truck, we would not only no longer be friends, but he would, to put it simply, be dead. i am overly OCD when it comes to my truck, and if someone so much as breathes on it the wrong way, i make sure to threaten their life (in a friendly way of course :D:D)

Yeah, i suppose its been "broken in" the way a truck should. A little time off road, deer blood all over the bed, spilled water in the back seat thanks to my lovely daughter and a dent. I can't complain tho.

roger, i'll post the pics, just be patient, i'm still trying to figure this website out on how to post full size pics and what not. I'm not computer savvy so it's a learning process for my dumb ass.

my preferred way is to upload pics to photobucket. they make it really easy, almost idiot proof (perfect for me) theres a button that says upload pics, click that, select which ones to upload. then they automatically make links, so all you have to do is copy and paste the link into a reply, and VIOLA!! pics:)
