    yeah thats a poor design, I would have at least put a big ol plate on the frame behind it to help with distribution. Factory body mount is pretty beefy for a reason lol

    Yeah exactly. Reinforce the frame there and also add another connection point to the mount, similar to the lil b.

    Seems to help a lot with load distribution. I went with lil b and had a plate welded over the giant hole where the factory cab mount was located for extra support on the 2nd gens. I don’t foresee any issues with this design

    yeah with that design it's not surprising. My tire on the other hand, enjoys making love to my cab mount. I think I'll let them have at it as long as I don't have to watch, and can turn up the radio.

    I wasn't rubbing with my 315/70/17s until I took off my sway bar. Around town it's fine, but wheeling it's back to loving on my CMC, buts it's just the tip, not full insertion.
