Most Tacoma owners aren’t going to push their trucks hard enough to notice the difference. If I were you I’d get a set of appropriately valved 7100s.

yeah that’s kinda what I was thinking. One of the reasons i wanted to get kings because I have kings on the front.

i have been reading some pages of this thread and some people recommend to get the 12” instead of the 14” because the limiting factor are going to be the leaf springs.
But I wonder if having the hammer hangers would allow more drop making the 14” short body a better choice. Do you have any input on this?

Kings are definitely better, but depending how hard you beat your truck it may not matter, and getting something decent on now will be better than waiting till fall.

You're not going to get 14" of useful travel out of any spring pack using the OEM hanger locations. Full stop.

The shorter body of the 7100 makes it more likely you can use more of the available travel but it’s highly dependent on what leaf springs, shackles and the care put into a proper installation for your style of use.

I’m getting a good deal on some fox 2.5 12” travel but I’m wondering if they fit with the BAMF shock relocation.
The wheel I have are the scs ray 10s. 17x 8.5. 4.30 BS

Hard to say without tire specs as well, but you might need a wheel spacer to fit with 2.5s. I technically fit 2.5x12 Kings on 315/75r16, 4.5 BS SCS F5s but it rubs with any sort of significant wheel travel.

Gotcha. Yeah, you'll probably want spacers to fit without rubbing.

Finally got my relocation kit on after I ordered my kings on Black Friday.

Can’t wait to try them this Sunday. I have to check the clearances too with 315/75/16 on f5 -25

You're gonna want spacers, even with the -25, at full stuff they will rub

I switched to a different setup on the new truck but I only run spacers on the rear with the same wheels as you. I'm not terribly worried about symmetry on a truck I drag over rocks. Without spacers my tires were able to touch the 2.0s enough to wear away the coating and allow the shock bodies to rust.

I’m not really concerned about the asymmetry either but thanks for the heads up

try running higher offset wheels like the SCS -38 3.5 BS wheels. I am running a 12 bypass setup (custom bypass locations) and only a minor rub, no spacers. Others with spacers get the same so you may be ale to that with this setup.

Im looking to do 12 or 14 bypass in the rear similar to your setup. Who did you have make your relocation for the bypass?

    18EE7680-FBAA-4E82-B172-2028770B05E7.jpg Hello,
Got a quick question regarding the hangers and HD shackle from BAMF.
Is the grease zerk on the shackle supposed to be up or down? While cycling the suspension the shackle makes contact with the hanger.
    Thanks
