The z is collecting dust because I gave up. Some weird electrical issue that’s causing the injectors not to fire.

 

Did you buy or rent this recent sense of humor ?

 

Do you need a new ECU or was that not the problem?

I think I burnt the ECU when I did a diag test wrong. MAF only has 7v now.

 

Drove the flatbed over to the alignment shop. Alignment then state inspection so I can register online before tomorrow. Registering in-person would basically mean taking off work all day.

Had to change into running clothes at my house, drive it over, sprint the mile home, change back into work clothes, and drive the double cab back to work for a meeting. This cold front saved me from soaking in sweat at least.

 

Don't wanna buy another ECU from The Z Store?

 

Been raining all day and there was no mention of it in the forecast leading up to today, we don't usually get that lucky around here

 

same here this storm popped up 2 days ago we may get a few inches of snow out of it. Did you wash your truck?

 

I did about a week ago lol. It needed it though, I really need to clean the inside more than anything.

 

Im too cheap for that. I want to make sure it’s a wiring issue first before I fry another ECU. I actually have two ECU’s, both are bad.

 

Same I need to detail the white truck before I drive down next month. It smells like dirty snowboard boots. At least its not as bad as a hockey bag.

 

Shop said the driver side of the rack has too much play. Tried to tell me the inner tie rod was bad. I’ll just swap out that bearing/bushing behind the giant nut on the driver side and that should solve the problem. And save me $600 on a Toyota reman rack.

Should’ve gone tons and 40s.

 

My hockey bag has been sitting on the side of the house for over a year collecting rain, dirt, spider webs and god knows what else. I'm sure it smells lovely

Gonna have to let it all soak in the bathtub before I ever use it again lol
