The insurance company is going to total my truck. I'm waiting for them to provide numbers for the value of the truck so I can start arguing with them.

 

No worries, another friend of mine ran up there with a spare arm and trailer to get him home

Yeah. I had 1500 miles on the lift, wheels and tires and a month with the sliders.

Depending on what you're doing that Dewalt saw is a great value. I've used it to cut through a bunch of 3x3x3/16 angle iron and 3" C channel for equipment trailer ramps.

 

I went through something similar and it ended up being a head gasket.

Well I got some good news. The insurance company gave me a price for replacement where I was planning to argue them to based on my own comps research, then said that I had a better level of insurance on the plan they did not consider so that value will go up AND they will add value to the aftermarket parts in places. I do need to go pull the sliders, bed rack and RTT off of the truck though. I haven't even started arguing yet. Didn't see that coming. So far Allstate is being alright, much to my surprise.
