the 250R is insane.

 

Those 3 wheelers are like automatic shoe removers, u put ur foot down when it starts to tip and bam the back tire takes off ur shoe.

Nice quads Craig, had me a 88’ banshee and my buddy had a Tri-z.... that thing kept up with me no problem!! Crazy fast and we had some good times back in the day

 

Speaking of seeing the light, I think there's an improvement here...

I had a buddy years ago that had the turbo version of that. He dumped a shit load of money into it. 550hp. But wrapped it around a tree.

 

Nope, one of those timeless designed bodies that still look good after 20+ years

 

My brother had a 3 wheeler like that when we were growing up, he could ride it like it had 6 wheels. I had a 250R four wheeler, they are cool machines and bring good money these days

 

Were the Banshees 350 twins or was that something else Yamaha made?

 

350 twins. That was a badass quad especially with a little work done to them. One of craziest I ever rode was a Suzuki LT500 with some work done to it, people called them quadzillas.

 

I never rode the Suzuki 500, I did have the Suzuki 250 two stroke for a while until I hit a tree and messed my shoulder up. Sold it after that.

 

I rode a 250 stroke they were fun too, but that big 500 2 stroke was on the edge of scary

 

they are known for busting timing belts and trashing the engine as well, at least the 4G63s were. My buddy had one that blew up on the new owner right after he sold it lol.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

My plans to spend the day clearing brush went to shit about 8 when Lynn took our dogs out for there morning play time. Our black lab Duffy was obviously not feeling well - she love to chase the frisbee - but was just walking around. She's had Lyme's and it was obviously she was flaring again. Called the vet and had to wait to get a call back. Finally, talked to her late morning and she prescribed a round of antibiotics. Had to run into town to pick those up - and then we were scheduled for an early dinner at the college.

It is amazing how quickly the antibiotics kick in - by last night Duffy was walking better and jumped up on the bed to sleep. This morning she's still not back to normal - but the impact of just one pill is wild. 9 days to go - along with an anti-inflammatory.

I did get 3 hours of brush cutting in - tough going but made a good dent in the tree line - probably about 1/3 cut. The tow bar for the chipper finally showed up yesterday afternoon. I've got to run into the college to film my part for this year's commencement this morning and have an eye check-up, as well, so I might have a few hours this afternoon to crunch up some of the brush. Friday and the weekend look to be the next real chances to get things done.
