The roof is now 5 years old now. Asphalt shingles are cheaper than metal.

It supposed to withstand 180 MPH winds. At least the roof will be good but the rest of the house might not.

 

Building material prices are going to go crazy high like toilet paper.

 

You get blown every time you pull out your glider...

 

Did the breakfast bar a few months ago. Nerve racking cutting that miter.

Thanks, I love walnut. Bought a couple big slabs from home depot and cut them down. If I don't use the cut offs by Christmas all gifting will be cutting boards

My better half has determined that when we get a house, it will have butcher block counters thanks to your cutting board. The trick is finding somebody who makes them... ideally we'd do end grain, but side grain is also a possibility. Depends on what we got for quotes.

 

in line with what sig said, don't use it on prep surfaces. Too much work in the long run

 

She did a bunch of research and looking around- she wants it for the prep surfaces. She's all for oiling it once a month, and having it sanded/refinished when it eventually needs it.

Sadly....that's not always the case when you pull out your "glider".

 

I have a track saw for making such cuts as well as trimming doors, cutting stair treads/risers.....top name a few uses.
