Almost two years of dashing with no “contract violations" and they pull this shit...

FYI, the GPS sent me to the wrong address, and the food wasn’t even ready when I arrived, so quite frankly I don’t think there’s a problem!

 

As you can see in the first screenshot, the customer was so mad at me that he increased my tip (that was sarcasm)!

 

My mom doesn’t think I’ll get deactivated...

 

If the food wasn't ready what difference would it have made if you arrived 10 minutes earlier?

 

It’s run by computers that only see me showing up ten minutes late...

 

Yeah that is BS!

 

I hate it when major corporate entities are run by computerized algorithms; Don’t even get me started on Facebook!

 

There are certain areas that just trigger a whole slew of Walmart orders; I dropped off an order from Dunkin Donuts this morning, and as is often the case, the order went to house just outside my “zone”. I did even get to put the truck in drive before they started coming in; I don’t know which Walmart this was, but I’m guessing it’s the one on Street Road in Warminster.

 

Nine orders came in between 10:38am and 10:42am...

 

DoorDash seems to be attempting to trick Dashers into accepting orders with payouts of $12 to $15, but if you look closely you realize it’s as many as three or four orders lumped together, and the customers generally don’t tip because among other things they generally don’t realize that the order is being delivered by an independently contracted DoorDash driver.

The man who thought I was a porch private stealing the food I was actually delivering back in January is a prime example of this!

Picking up an order at the Buffalo Wild Wings and saw this in a parking space; If I see a car on the side of the road near here with a seized engine, I’ll have an idea where it came from...

 

Yeah looks like the Exxon Valdez was parked there, lol.

 

The Manhattan Bagel on 202 in Chalfont is now on my shitlist...

The staff isn’t unprofessional or anything, but the place is on a really busy corner and getting out of the parking lot is a real bitch; I picked up two orders from them today and the second one ended up being the wrong order.

I delivered it to an apartment complex less than half a mile away, and I never even bothered to check the info on the receipt because, gee, let’s see; I’ve never been given the wrong order!

What makes it hilarious is that I’m with DoorDash and the order I was supposed to get was for a woman, but the order I got was an Uber Eats and for a guy!

I did not realize this until this very attractive blonde came running out to my truck in a mask; I stopped and rolled down the window. She explained the issue.

At this point, I’d already marked the order as delivered and couldn’t go back. I also had to pee. I explained this to the woman and she was very understanding, telling me she’d just contact DoorDash and complain. I didn’t get in trouble, but no more pickups from that Manhattan Bagel!

In the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant in Warminster maybe a week and a half ago, some guy bitched at me because I “almost hit him with my truck”...

What actually happened is that I was attempting to turn around in a small parking lot; My reverse lights were clearly on, and quite frankly he should not have walked into the blind spot of a reversing vehicle. That sounds like someone who wants a Darwin Award if you ask me!

 

He sounds like an idiot

 

Idiots are exactly why I bought a dashcam; Back before I had the dashcam, I almost splattered an old man who for some reason thought it was a good idea to walk on the side of a road with no shoulder, at night, with no reflective clothing...

 

They never cease to amaze me!

 

I need to invest in one of these days at some point.
