I do still have the stock offroad shocks, and they've lived a hard life. The ride isn't "bad" at 30 psi, but they feel far more sluggish and the mpg is noticeably worse than at 35+ psi

The Kendas come in D and E. I opted for D to go for more deflection off road but considered the E’s for the strength.

I can hardly tell a difference from stock tires so far. I have them at 40 psi but think I will air them down a bit as they are a bit harsh on bumps. I drive 80 miles a day and 8 of that is down a dirt road. These tires pick up rocks but that's just what deep tread gets you.

They are probably better in ice and snow. That's likely related to tire compound and tread pattern though. I drove through a snow storm on Vail Pass in Colorado six weeks ago and didn't have even a slight hiccup in traction.

So all that to say; no regrets. Mileage is still mediocre but I got them in the winter and it still isn't really warm yet. We will see what summer weather/summer gas brings me for mileage.

Ordered five Cooper 255/80-17 ST Maxx 4/7/21 from Tire Rack, arrived at Firestone 4/8, installed 4/12. Back order is over or I’m just lucky.

Quite a few things at this point..
Got my spare to fit with zero modding. I run 255/85r16 Yokohama Geolandar MTs, spare is actually a 255/80r17 Toyo OC AT3 and completely deflated.

Haha, yeah, I have on-board air. Installed an ARB single motor compressor into my engine bay a while back, works amazing.

I cut my muffler off just after the axle anyway for ground clearance issues, then hammered that metal bracket up and cut the brackets off for that rubber thing to make sure my spare fit without any undo pressure points. It fits very comfortably now.

There ya go! Sweet deal. I was looking for 16s. Perhaps those were having more of an issue. Either way, likely good news for other folks looking.

No rubbing (still looking). No CMC. Only known issue is the spare is resting against the tail pipe.

Looks good man. Been thinking of going 255's once the tread wears out on my current tires. Does the tires stick out at all past the fenders, or is it pretty flush?
