I haven't had white Reebok's since the '90s. If the shoe doesn't fit, you can't convict.

Wait until you see my welds, I will beat yours for ugliness especially in such a tight spot. You were smart welding on a plate.
I saw that the block needs to stay at the bottom so you can tighten it over time. Should be fun.

    Never give up hope.
Giant snow bank melted at River Rouge this year...NS bridge where the dump the snow in the river...body hanging in half in the river out of the snowbank. Ive seen my fair share of that shit.
Bad stuff happens around the tracks.

The clevis rod should be reasonably in-line with the strap to prevent bending the threaded shank.

Also the TMR threaded block isn't really necessary. You can make a little gusset bracket by cutting square tubing at an angle. It gives you the freedom to weld to the frame at any angle you want.

You guys think getting these new sliders powder coated is 100% necessary? Was gonna call to arrange a shop tomorrow. My last pair was....But I feel like if I just hit it with two days worth of primer and coats that I'll save myself the annoyance down the road and I can easily touch them back up if they get nicked. But then again, I'll be really annoyed if I decide to powdercoat down the road cause I'll have to strip the paint.

paint it with cheapest paint you can get, if you plan beating on them it's the best thing to do.
