There’s a ton of mods on can do and threads for all of them. I’d suggest building your watched threads list accordingly while remembering to unwatch threads you don’t want cluttering it.

    Clever.
Is there enough flex in the + cable to still get into the oem fuse/relay box?
What’s the extra fuse holder for? I see a 6-way fuse panel and 6 relays.
Edit- Also, you should either upgrade the chassis ground wire or connect the green cable directly to the battery. The lack of a spare wire post on the ground clamp is why many of us switch to an aftermarket clamp.

Nah the switch and load wires come out of the back so you've got to disconnect the main cables on the front to open the OEM fuse box but it doesn't take long to do. At the moment I'm only using 5 of the relays/fuses so I decided to use the spare fuse to power the switches until I need it for something else. And yes I'm in the process of upgrading the battery terminals to better accommodate these additional attachments. Thanks for the advice.

No problem, it’s a pretty common overlook but pretty much everything but the starter motor and plugs comes back to the battery through that #6 cable already. I cut off the post clamp loop keeping the crimp and a short section with the bolt hole and used that as a lug to reconnect to an aftermarket clamp with extra terminals. The stock chassis ground is fine until it’s not. The extra terminals let me keep the stock wires and crimp and provided a spot for the aftermarket ground buss cable.

What tap would you recommend for the add a fuse ? There is no 7 amp usb on mine. I'm thinking the ignition 1 . 2. Or 3. Although I don't want to fuck with that circuit.

    Maybe acc ? 20210401_180011.jpg

Are your power outlets ignition hot? Those would be safe circuits. You just want an ignition hot trigger, right? I’d avoid any system you can’t do without in case you screwed something up.

That's exactly what I did thx. Power outlet 15 amp circuit. "P outlet 2"

Have to wire up the relay now, mount the 3d printed holder and the breaker ...almost there lol.

I didn’t use the outlet because I assumed the switch plays a part in it and I don’t know if you’d have to push the outlet switch to trigger the relay.

I tested voltage when the truck was turned on and it was hot. Seems good to go... Im looking back at some of the pics that I think were yours of the high amp relay you mounted. Just trying to figure out the wiring diagram now for that relay

The bolt lugs are 30 & 87 for your high current. The coil
Tabs are 85 & 86. Check to see if it uses a resistor or diode for voltage spikes. If resistor then no polarity on either 30/87 or 85/86. If diode then polarity matters only on the coil side (85/86).

Thanks. I looked at my Amazon order specs and it didnt say diode or resistor. It looks like the one others used.relay wiring from battery.jpgthx

Ok, so lets see if I have this right. 86 and 85 terminals are pos + and neg -?
The pos + terminal in this pic (86) will come from the tapped fuse inside cab, and the negative is ground.

    relay wiring from battery.jpg

Then 30 will run to the breaker before the blue sea panel, and 87 will go straight to the battery?
    Sorry total noob.

Unless it specifies a polarity there isn’t one so:
    Either/or
85 is trigger fused 12v source
    86 to ground
    Either/or
30 from 100A fuse or breaker
    87 to panel supply lug

I’d put the breaker before the relay.
Battery to breaker to relay to panel

Nice. Are you going to beef up the stock chassis/battery ground cable? You’re adding your accessories to what’s already on it, basically everything but the starter/alternator. I cut the battery clamp leaving the bolt hole and used that to attach to a new battery clamp with 3-lug spots and brought my accessory grounds there instead.

Thanks for the advice. It is on the list of upgrades. Just trying to decide on which terminals to go with.

Lots of choices to be sure. I thought you might have this covered but make it a habit to look things over and point out anything I notice. I kept the stock positive clamp and installed an xscorpion negative. Only other one I really considered was the mil spec since SDHQ is above my pay grade and the X terminals seemed to lay out better for me anyway.
