I put the work in and found a non marked up car! It was hard though, and I havent given up on trying for an actual discount.

But finding one that was what we wanted, and not marked up...I must have called 15 dealers.

yeah that’s why I was thinking if I do trade in I’d get like a shitty Corolla for two years and then get a southern truck in Texas once we move.

    Warning!

    Gale Toyota of Enfield CT.

Pics don't really show how bad the damage really is.
Also didn't fix my break pedal going to the floor, and apparently had a leak out of a rear axle seal which they changed and put a new seal and bearing on which means more leaked out.
Did they check the level of my diff at least?
    Nope.
The only thing I got them to do is pay for my new wheel spacers.
I get to eat everything else.
Corporate can't do anything for me either.

So please let people know to stay far away from Gale Toyota if they like there vehicle.

Personally I don't like brining it to a dealer anyway but I have no time to work on my rig.
But alas I have to fix everything they screwed up now.

WTF! Did they cause the body damage? What happened? I remember seeing others with similar chipped spacers

    They did...
    It's a shame they can't prove they didn't...
They told me I off-roaded it.
I had them check my frame and they put that crc compound on it which is white.
Well if I off-roaded it then why is the compound still white?
I mean if I would take it to a dirt parking lot it would have been dirtier.

Oh and any tech with a brain would have used penetrating fluid and a mallet/plastic hammer/block of wood to free my wheel spacers just like I do.
There are actually other tools you can use also instead of beating the shit out of it like a monkey that can't get to his banana.

Wholly hell man, I'd go for small claims court for that kind of body damage. The spacers are the least of your concerns. You can tell it's fresh, not a spec of rust on those spots.

the next buyer (if he would ever let her go) will certainly be taking money off the hood for that damage.

Definitely hit up your insurance and let them work it out. The body damage is in some rough spots for a dent puller( I have one of you want to try) but otherwise small claims... Take lots of pics and communicate thru emails when possible to have proof of conversations and condition.

I just remembered - call NBC30’s consumer help line. They claim to answer every call. They even have an email that you can send the info to -Picts, explanation, etc... If anything, they might make a clip and broadcast it. I know you’re busy but you’ve put most of the email together already.

    Jeebus.

keep in mind how fast techs filter in and out of those places. That tech could be at Mercedes within 5 months and they get lucky and get a great tech in next. Unlikely but possible.

but denying damages and telling you to F off. That’s on management not the tech.

One of many reasons I don’t go to the dealership for service anymore. I think - THINK I’ve fixed all the shit they screwed up doing it. Last time I told them my skid was stripped (it was due to them...) and I just did the air filter - no need to do it. So they left the air filter and an oil filter on my pass. Seat instead - that was as good service department though (Boch Toyota south if anyone’s wondering).

Wtf how did they even do that damage to the roof? Put it in a lift and forget there was something above it...?

I have sworn off multiple dealerships. I had an argument with the service dept at westboro Toyota over LED plate lights and them refusing state inspection since bulbs weren’t oem. When my best friend who’s a cop says light source doesn’t matter as long as it’s white light visible from so many feet. They wouldn’t fail me; just refused to inspect. Took it to my local shop where the state auditor just happened to be passing through said no problems whatsoever. Got my sticker and went in with my day. Will never get my truck serviced at westboro Toyota ever again. I’ll have to get my Fuel pump recall done at imperial in Milford where we’ve had a great service experience with wifey’s venza.

Yep, hard flip, 3 panels. Someone from RealTruck dot com is over on the f150 forums and he quoted me $725 for it shipped. It's like $950 or something on the site. I paid like 1050 for my BAK Industries roller X on the Sierra. Also ordered a full BedRug bedliner. Expensive day but then it's done. Until I get sick of these stock tires.

Not worth my time or effort, I'll just fix it.
I've already waisted a day and a half of my time as it is.
But I do realize that I have that option.

Id be leaving reviews everywhere. With pictures. Service is where they make their money. BBB. And with the state since they all have to be licensed.

Fix the damaged bodywork? That's thousands upon thousands of dollars in damage right there!! You SHITTIN' me? I actually wonder if an adjuster would total that truck due to the cab damage! That's horseshit right there.
