I am almost scared to venture far from home as so many places are gone for good.

 

There’s so many places near me that have been shuttered due to the pandemic. Fucking sucks.

 

It's sad, lot of mom and pa places.

 

Yes it does indeed one can not keep paying overhead with no incoming cash.

 

Morning Pa! What a glorious day today is! Nurses removed Baby Addie's feeding tube last night! She has been feeding normally from a bottle of her Mother's breast milk. First time nurses tried Addie latched right on, knew what to do, polishing off the bottle to empty! One more hurtle and she will be home! Addie's Mom is taking car seat into NICU during today's visit. She has to pass the car seat test which I bought Addie the infant seat so we are good. I love good news!

 

Sweet. I can see that smile from here.

Not @ this point from me anyhow. Planning on giving parents a couple of days to settle in, told them to let me know when ready for Pap! Pap is ready right this minute to be honest! Man I gotta get her Disney Princess Castle ceiling fan hung.....

 

When I worked at Carpenter there was a bar across the street from our building's parking lot. I'd be coming into work and the 3rd shift would be getting out; cars would stop there, driver would run into the bar and come out with a brown paper bag. They'd be lined up waiting their turn.

 

That's a dangerous trip riding that up the highway to Bucks County.

They currently live in the neighborhood right next to mine. It was a short ride to deliver it to my house.

 

When I was working (a long long time ago) at the E.G. Budd Co. in Philadelphia there was a Delicatessen around the corner that everyone went to for lunch and came back with 2-12 oz cans of beer...it was called a Budd hoagie because they would wrap the beers up to look like a hoagie . Or they would sneak out early on the shipping rail tracks and head to the bar...that was known as Conrailing it . A lot of drinkers working there in those days .

 

Budd that brings back some Memories I was lucky only had to go there a few times.

 

Whelp mowed the swamp for the first time this year.

Needed to dry for about a week but it's April and that'll never happen, since my work week starts tomorrow I went with fuck it, lets get it done.

 

what’s your plan for those? I’m in the market for toys

 

Likely selling them once I get them cleaned up.

I’ve had my ‘07 Prerunner for 3 years. I bought it winter and found out that the A/C wasn’t working. Today I found out it’s just the engine speed switch. Should be done tomorrow and I won’t have to sweat my way through another summer.
