Taco Garage - Dashtop Multi-Mount (DMM) - Securely mount ANYTHING to your dash

@FreshMexicanTaco I have the DMM and I love it. Have you considered making a version for the trim, to the left of the steering wheel, over the vent? There is a space above the trim that would be large enough for a single ball mount.

Would be really cool to have the additional option to mount something over there to go with the DMM.

 

You are kind of imagining it, we make a "DSM" but that simply a small version of the DMM, still for the center dash. The left hand mount has a few challenges which I have been working on sporadically but haven't actually solved yet, there's no "perfect" spot for the plates on the left, I know it would be great but I want it to look as clean as the DMM so im trying to work out the best way to do that.

See above, I have a pretty rough prototype but making it from sheet metal doesn't work as well on that side because it isn't really flat, I may end up printing or machining the Left hand dash mount

 

Yes my inbox has been flooded for a little while, some stuff becomes irrelevant by the time I get to it but it still means I have to open and read those messages before I get to the ones where a response is still relevant. I am getting to some more of those today.

I just came from your site, finding this i can imagine you will sell out fast. That muilti-mount with small tablet looks fantastic. while its only a 2 beer install, I cant wait.

 

I dont usually sell out on DMMs, I try to make more than enough to always keep in stock but I just sold a large batch to a Dealer in Canada who is going to be selling it over there. Next batch I already have and is waiting on powdercoat so, I won't be selling out anytime soon again, but if I did I wouldn't be too mad about it obviously...

 

Installed the DMM in one of my fleet vehicles and my customers have loved it thus far. I'll be ordering another one for my next Tacoma.

Props to you for making sure these are as precise as possible. I really like that.

What QI charger is that? I don't see many with ball mounts.

Ordered my DMM and installed it a couple weeks ago. Finally found a mount that dose not require 3M tape that will fall off once it gets above 80 degrees here in Albuquerque or has a suction cup. Haven't tested it off road, but the city streets here in the Abq feel like wash board roads and still holding strong. I have recommended this to other Taco owners I know. Excellent product.
