If you can fins a set of lift spindles it will widen your wheel track by 3 inches and rubbings will never happen again

So was the tractor not moving or was its inclusion intentional?

We were already on the bluff road and the tractor was parked so we included it.

Why would you want the old style cap? I would just order the correct sized allen socket and install the updated cap with the updated guide

Nah haha, I wish I had M3 money. I've got the little brother to this car. My 135i has the inline six they beefed up for the M3, the same double clutch trans... same size engine but mine is a good bit smaller physically and single turbo.

That one came stock TT, that one has the older N54 engine, mine is the N55. Comes stock with a bigger single turbo and makes the same stock power. Would be fun one day to put a larger turbo on though since the torque is strong enough with the 10.2:1 compression that I could sacrifice some spool time.

ive got v6 coils and the daystar spacer i need to get off my lazy ass and install. will help with ride height, and im hammering the wells and cutting fenders for bump. Hopefully that combo should be enough to keep me on 31-32s until I decide long term what i want.

I learned manual with the POS 4cyl Dodge Dakota I had in the early 2000s, my dad tried teaching me but gave up after a couple days. I basically got it down just forcing myself to drive around the neighborhood for a couple weeks.

Still stalled that thing a few times in some major intersections though, that was fun. It also couldn't go up the hill into our neighborhood because it was so underpowered. If I didn't get a running start or got stuck behind someone slow I'd have to roll down and start over.

My Gf taught me on the slug in a parking lot down the way. I stalled a good amount due to being scared of riding the clutch, but glad to have learned the trade.

yeah I would imagine the 5 lugs being lighter in general are pretty easy to learn on. I wouldn't want to teach anyone on my truck with the weight and bigger tires, if you don't hit the sweet spot you either miss it and stall or ride it too much

I taught my ex how to drive my old Scion tC manual, that thing was super easy to learn on. Could get it going from a stop pretty quick just letting the clutch go in 1st. I can't do that with my truck unless its pointed downhill lol.

Can’t get the updated cap to ship in the next week or two from anyone. And I really need to have the flatbed driving by then. Might have to go pull an updated cap from a yard off a 4Runner.
