    I drive a 2010 Tacoma TRD SR5 4x4.

Currently running Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT in a 285/70/17 on the TRD Sema rims which are 17” with a positive 4mm offset.

My lift is a 3” Toytec Coilover.

I don’t have any rubbing issues at all unless I’m in reverse at full lock.

Looking to get BFG KO2’s in a 295/70/17 but I’m curious if anyone here has run something similar without doing a cmc

Curious as well. I have 295’s ready to install, just kinda nervous of what all will need to be done.

    Why no CMC?

Install the 295s and see what needs cut and what needs trimmed. A CMC and a Dremel for trimming will probably be all you need.

Also note, not all 295/70s are created equal. Check manufacture specs on actual sizes.

CMC will be a must. Real easy to do, I did mine in less than an hour. I am running 285s and stepping up to 295x70x17. Good luck with your truck.

I’m running 295/70s on a 3rd gen with 2.5 fox coil overs. I just used a heatgun to remold the Plastic inner wheel wells some . They barely touch every now and then. Not sure how much difference are between our trucks but that’s some feedback for you anyway. Also I’m running nitto ridge grapplers. No issues in front because I’m running a high clearance CBI bumper

What's your wheel and alignment specs? I was looking at the Ridge Grappler and noticed Nitto in general runs more on the big side of the specs.
