Sad day, no longer a 1st Gen owner :/ . Rust on body panel and having some homeless guy bust open the passenger door meant the repairs passed the value. It’s been fun all.

DIY fix? doesn't sound too bad having to replace the door and a body panel, lots of 1st gen used parts floating around

Unless the homeless guy had an orgy in it, that's a stain/smell/memory I would never be able to live with

These days I just put a piece of foil underneath whatever I'm cooking, toss it when done. Way easier than having to clean the oven #lifehacks

I looked into it, it would have saved some but not enough cost. There were new stains after our homeless visit so....yeah..... dunno.

Sold it private party to a Toyota mechanic at the dealership we bought the 3rd Gen at. Happy with the price we got for it, also the creature comforts on the 3rd Gen mean the wife is happy (heated seats, dual climate, blind spot monitors, backup camera).

He said he was pretty sure he can. He said he can access the body shop @ cost, so his repair totals would be wayyyyy lower than mine.

    Stock again- rip slug

oh definitely was fun and likely easy in hindsight learning on the slug.

    However,
I learned how to drive overall on my dads lifted 7.3, and can say id rather learn on a bigger truck to make all other vehicles cake walk.

I don't doubt it, it's just a stock one. Next time I'm getting a heavier duty performance kit

Like the one I had for <2 weeks before it was ruined because the dude put it in backward

Yeah that was a total fuck up lol.

I put in what was supposed to be an OEM replacement but I think it's a stage one. It hooks pretty hard

I'm ashamed to admit I was a big Creed fan back in high school lol

Their first album My Own Prison was pretty legit actually, before the lead singer went nuts and thought god spoke through his songwriting
