Instead of shipping it all to me and me shipping to you or you coming to get it, I’ll also offer same day turnaround if you bring it all up for the day. Get out of the heat, drink a few beers, and take your fresh new gusseted spindles back home with ya

they’re so pretty when they’re done.

Ha I’m tempted to bring jack stands and tools and steal the wife’s 33’s for a run if I need to. I’d be screaming though with that small a tire and the new 5.29 gearing. Really can’t wait to try that out! Gonna feel like I dropped a few pulley sizes with that change

Were you hit too? What caused this? Honestly for the cab mount I’d just do the best to straighten it and tighten that gap up some and weld it back up. Then maybe bend up an overlay piece to cross that seam for added support

No idea. Did not get hit. but it was a cab mount relocation. The vendor did reach out to replace it. Will see how it goes.

I mean it’s cracked on the outside of the weld. Probably not a manufacturing defect or even an issue with the weld. This does get me thinking though as I have installed one of these on a third gen. I wonder if these relocations just done utilize enough surface area to distribute the forces. They are much smaller than the factory mounts are. Makes me want to throw a quick frame overlay plate on prior to welding the relocation the next time I do one. You are also an extra heavy rig so the frame probably flexes more than usual and blah blah blah

After examining it closer @nudavinci64 I would just remove the cab mount, patch weld that piece which broke off of the frame back to it then weld an overlay plate to it as @snowsk8air2 suggested, and THEN weld the cab mount back onto it.

Your weight doesn't help as previously mentioned though.

Did some testing toda. I took off the sock and ran it. Still hear it. I described it as a rattle or buzzing but it’s really a loud ass rasp. I then took the shield off, still hear it. I threw the sock back on for wet weather protection for now. Gotta do more testing on this. I hope I’m wrong but if it is the URD intake.......this thing is gone! I can’t handle hearing this much longer.

I definitely never had a rasp or anything with the intake! It had a pretty good suck sound during heavy, abrupt throttle, but def no rasp. Only thing I have a slight rasp with is my header/exhaust combo which is most likely due to my old wickedflow muffler and chopped over the axle.
