Hey there. 2020 TRD Off-Road. I am currently running Spidertrax spacers with the stock rims. I thought I would save some money but now I'm already looking at getting proper off road wheels.

I'm running 285/75 R16s and I'll soon be getting the full size spare as well.

After some googling it seems that having a different offset/backspacing on the spare shouldn't affect anything as long as tire sizes are the same. I'd like to just keep using the stock spare wheel but before I pull the trigger what are people running for spares, and has anyone had issues having one wheel with a different offset?

Buy a matching set of 5 rims.
You can just get four, but its just akward.

Issue is I read 3rd gen can't run 5 TPMS, so 5 tire rotation would be a pain. Meaning I'd really only use the spare until I patch the bad tire and put it back on..

You mean awkward looking, not operationally correct? I'm okay with awkward looking.

It will work in a pinch, yes, looks silly. It has other issues if you are 4wd and need to use the feature. I am 2wd, doesn't matter for me really.
Just be sure to keep a set or at least 4 stock lug nuts in your truck. Most likely the new lug nuts won't be the same.
