So some new updates from the guy who's a ghost...

Yota1 has my T4R and I just paid half of the total cost for a new engine and install. Don't have a timeframe as of yet but they did say that they have a long list of people waiting for engine rebuilds.

I finally sold my fucking Mercedes! Covid must have been nice to me because my car's value raised up so I wasn't under on the financing. While it was fun to have an AMG....the repairs and total cost of ownership was just too damn high.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Been trying to burn through a tank of gas in my son's 4Runner (with injector cleaner) before I change the plugs and wires, to take it back for a return trip to smog. :frusty:

Been taking forever... that damn thing gets WAY better mileage than my pig.

My dumbass didn't even think about the fact that the gas was a year old in the tank when we finally took it to get smogged.

Technically yes but only for 2 weeks. Going to go back to my parents to pick up our family car (Highlander) that just sits in the driveway

Mrs Blue Canary sometimes sighs when she gets in my truck. Other days she asks me what’s new on the headliner. At the end of the day I don’t have a ton of money with Velcro backing and she lets me be.

Could potentially daisy chain it’s way up the 99...it’s just sitting on my shelf. It’s the same kit you showed me from Yota1 just without the drive belts

    @MattJakobs and @theesotericone

Let's talk 4runner for a moment. Driving Robert's 4R the last week or so, it's pretty soft in the back end. Wants to rock back and forth when on uneven pavement at speed.

I'm going to order @eimkeith panhard bar adjustment brackets.

Does Robert still need an adjustable panhard, or does eimkieth's kit fix that entire panhard problem?

Next... what was the OME coil that's best for 3rd Gen? (I think MattJakobs said there was an OME coil that was better than the rest)

BTW... Mattjakobs... I saw you called this morning, I called ya back, but my phone stopped even getting calls from Jen until I restarted it.

Drove the rest of the old gas out of Robert's truck. Added octane boost and a full tank of 91. Replaced plugs and plug wires. Tightened up a bunch of loose shit on the air intake tube. Plugged the hole I found in the air intake box, and replaced the air filter.

I think this bitch is ready to go back for smog.

You just need the PCK. It re-uses the factory panhard. It's a night and day difference.

I run 861's out back. They are only for guys planning on stuffing 35's and actually wheeling. You get at least 4" of lift with them after they settle.

Lots of guys are happy with the Land Cruiser 7.5 or 8 wraps. They net you anywhere from 2.5" to 3" of lift. OME 891's are also fairly popular.

Not sure if Robert is going to do 35s but he does intend to follow my dumbass down Slickrock and other spots. He'll be doing a bumper pretty soon (probably when I get this fucking Subaru out of my garage) I'm wondering if he should do 891s for now and possibly switch to 861s when he loads up the rear end.

He's currently running stock coils in back with spacers.
