Also we don't want to make competition for folks providing tuning services. We are providing them and our current customers expanding calibration capability. None of what we do will be "exclusive" to us.

Is gear lock possible with the latest tune yet? I was following this thread a while back but fell off for a little. It seems like it was and then it wasn’t and now you can tune your self so... it’s unclear for me at this point.

 

I think he's saying he's paid people to tune his stuff more than the cost of the cable/software kit would have been. Could be misreading though

yes quite confusing, doesn't make sense how one could flash with no hardware.

 

Or getting flashed by others so often it would have been cheaper to buy it himself... ?

 

Held out for the final v2 that never came, got a user created tune last October but would like to try others ​

 

I am very eager to learn I would 100% work for OVTune / VFTune on a remote basis.

Any update on this front? I’d love to test new 2.x versions or some community tunes. Or at the least get back to an 87 octane version possibly with gas being back up. Currently my Flash Manager is unusable due to a System ID change. Getting moved up to VF would be super fantastic!

2.0 Base has been good to me since June, but I’ve got that itch to see it do even better!

Not trying to be a bother. Just genuinely curious! Can’t complain too much though. I lived for years on 04B00/04B01 (10/2015 build) until I got the TSB flashed and then tuned last year.
