    Same here with the LT tune way to jerky in town. On the highway it drives best. Small roads (25 mph zone) it stays in 3rd when I go pass 30mph then it goes to forth. Just sucks now ill probably have to drive another 2hr and have to pay again to retune to the SLT version. Just hoping my tuner don't charge me.

    Well... this is a performance tune, recon it says so on the first page lol You get used to the light throttle version pretty easily after about a week.

    If it's one of the approved tuners listed on the first page of this thread, I don't think you should have any problems if you're polite and talk through the situation with your tuner. I can't do anything about the 2 hr drive aspect though. Hope you get it all squared away.

    Kreg, I think upshift points could be moved down for 2-3, 3-4 to deal with touchy throttle.
    3rd is too long in school zones and 25 mph zones

    I tuned a local guy @JCTRD tonight with a nice 2021 Cement truck with a Toytec lift, Dobinson UCA's, 33" Falken Wildpeaks, 5.29 gears. It was a super nice truck. Should have took a pic of it sitting next to mine.

    Not sure what tune I'm on anymore. I do know it's @PapaRee 's though. And, it works well. If the base tune you get from him or one of his affiliated tuners isn't quite exactly what you expected, he can and will tweak it to your liking as long as you communicate what it is that you are after. Great guy and really good at tweaking his tune ( and twtaco). Get the tune and if it's a bit off, just ask. I personally have not had any herky jerky throttle issues like what I've read about in the last couple of posts but ALL of our trucks act differently to these tunes.

    @PapaRee who does this tune in AZ? I don’t see it listed. Just got this done in Denver, and need my friends in Az on this lol.
    Did the 91/Max on my MT and am shocked at the difference in driving characteristics.

    I’m going to write up a little review later.

    Sounds like this tune is awesome. I do have a few questions though. When testing was done, what monitoring was done for the air fuel ratios to ensure that it isn’t leaned out too much? Also, what was done to ensure that timing changes aren’t causing detonation / knock?

    We used 17 trucks, from different years and different setups to test. We used OBDfusion to monitor KCLV, Knock f/b, Trans temp 1&2, MAF rate, Throttle position, A/F Actual, Engine Load, Fuel economy, Misfires, Coolant temp, Intake VVT angle, Exhaust VVT angle, Torque converter locking and unlucking, Engine oil temp, Load, RPM.
    We compared these with normal values and values from stock tunes and Ovtunes.
    Our tune was as good or better on all values.
    When I made the tune, I did not make drastic changes that would not be safe for public use.
