Busy day, all loaded up, headed West tomorrow. Ladders and smoker in the rear are headed to Schulenburg, and my FNL has too many damn ladders!

Smoker in the front and deer blind headed to my farm.




Went to lunch in this 928, I was not able to drive even with my 25 years drifting experience in rental cars....


A few more in the garage.

 

Man if I can find a garage about that size I’ll be set for life. Hopefully a yard with grass and trees too.

Here's the best way I've found to save on tires:

Search online for the tread you want in the size you want. Walmart is typically cheapest but what you want to see is the 4 Wheel Parts price during a sale. They're almost always running some kind of promotion for tires so if they don't have one going on now for the ones you want, just wait a bit. They'll typically offer like $50/tire off or buy four get one free or $200 off a set of four, etc. Don't even bother going to the site, just screen shot the ad. Trust me. You want it to be 4WP. Then go over to discount tire and show them the ad you've screen shot. Discount tire will happily match it. Then remind them that 4WP will knock an extra 10% off for being a veteran. USUALLY (they definitely have but don't always), 4WP won't stack discounts like that, but discount tire will in order to earn your business. I saved nearly $100/tire on my 37x12.50 Toyo MTR's and got them mounted and balanced for free.

I just put the truck to the username and realized I went through your build thread a few years ago when you were just starting out. I like the premise; looking forward to seeing that beast in person. How's it coming along? Last I saw the mods were intense and thorough.

2020 basically killed my truck

I paid a shop that was “reputable” in offroad to do a roll cage on the truck

paid them 10k
And the cage came out like it was welded by a blind squirrel sitting in a fishbowl

and then December rolled around and I lost my house when the owner decided to sell

truck is basically just sitting now
