With the non functional scoop, and all the hood (bonnet) angles and curves, I find the low sun glare a real annoyance. Thinking about getting the entire hood "wrapped" in a mat charcoal . I know nothing about wrapping. Inviting comments or options etc.

I have the Barca red version. Sport

At times, I would have preferred the Nissan hood line compared the the elephantiasis Taco nose.

You could do a hood swap with someone and ditch the scoop (and glare) and probably make some money. There’s a thread if you search for finding someone to swap with.

They make black decals that just cover the scoop/angled hood parts.

I have my 2nd gen hood fully wrapped in 3M Shadow thanks to Monstr Upfitters and 3M looks amazing and no glare issues even with the 50" Rigid.

Vinyl wrapping can be challenging and annoying, especially when using quality stuff and it's easy to mess it up completely.

I recommend getting it done professionally.

Not the best picture but the hood is in full sun at low angle so you can have an idea for glare reduction.

Put the pro’s hood decal on it and paint the “bulge” matte black.

I plan onremoving the "bulge" all together. I did once, but it was raining, and I didn't want rain to get in the engine compartment while I fabbed a filler piece. "matting" the hood seems the best. I need to locate a pro "wrapper", or just paint it.

Sounds like an easier option would be to do as advised earlier and throw it on the 3rd gen hood swap thread. Probably find a 2021 owner than wants a scoop. Might make some monies too.

I don't feel the scoop delete is near enough. That entire hood LOOMS proud compared to any late model sedan.

This is what I did to mine to mitigate glare. Still get it though. Agree, annoying AF

I've only driven a third gen a few times fortunately, and my god, a hood that large is an insult to not have a V8 under it.

    It's like driving a freaking '70s Cadillac.

The Tundra has a shorter lower hood on it.

wrap also protects the paint, so do it. That will be one of my mods.

I had a 2nd gen with a hood scoop. When I got my 2021, I made sure I didn't get a scoop for this reason.
