Of course! I actually stained the first one when it was disassembled and found out it was easier to stain them after I put them together. I did one side, flipped them over, then did the other. Took about 45 minutes per chair.

    Happy Birt-Day @emelianenkov

My sister's going into the hospital to induce labor today, like right now, so y'all might share a birt-day!

Today's famous birt-day is Leonardo da Vinci, tomorrow is Charlie Chaplin and Bill Belichick :D

This rain storm tonight/ tomorrow better bring it. I want my lake filled up and it's taking fucking forever. Wrapping up the dock decking today and I want some water back here at my house. 20210414_193202.jpg

I hope we don't get any snow here, there's up to 8" for northern Worchester county, but hopefully just rain here. My wife just ripped out all the shitty looking bushes from the front of the house and planted some flowers and evergreens.

Looks crooked. Did you square that up at all while you were framing it?

    :stirthepot:

Actually, it looks better with the decking on. The contractor I used to work for used to say that 90% of finish work was making things that weren't square look square.

This is why I am paying someone to do my doors, and some ceiling work, etc...

My house is OLD... and the only plumb and square stuff in the house, is the piping/mechanical work I've done....

That's the plan. Laid a bunch of chalk lines and went to town. I'm going to add some additional bracing between the columns. Not because it needs it but because I'm anal (giggitty) and have extra lumber. Then build a step on the water side to aid in getting into/ out of the kayaks.

    Pretty much!

Nah, but in all reality, the roads up here are super bumpy, and my stock suspension is way too damn tight. You feel every pebble in the road. The setup I got is sprung/valved to my specs. I have slightly heavier springs in the rear to help reduce/prevent the understeer that this platform suffers from, all while giving aggressive track performance and more-comfortable-than-stock on-road comfort!
