    Mornin' Y'all! Time to walk the dog. And for those preverts in here, no, not a metaphor.

    I just threw that link up because it’s in the dent/scratch section and reduced in price. I almost bought one last year, but ended up getting a cap (that now I’m probably going to sell).

    Mornin’ neighbors- get out there and crush whatever is holding you back. Unless it’s the IRS...they’re scary.

    Late to the party on this one, but Hagerstown is rapidly growing in price. We've been looking at houses and since I work in Hagerstown its been on the list of places. With the housing market the way it is... oof. This is why I commute there from Fulton County, PA (McConnellsburg to be exact), cost of living is way cheaper. On the plus side, it's only 40 minutes from your cabin :D

    Not to rain on your dreams, but I can assure you, CSX in cumberland is not a great place to work. It used to be. Gone are they days of men raising families and empires off of 20-40 year careers there.

    I dont know anyone around here anymore that has been there more than a few years. They will work people year round, round the clock, on rotating shifts and then lay them off to bring someone new in and pay that new person less money. They’ve been steadily doing that for just over 10 years. I believe my cousin didnt make it to year 3 before he was laid off.

    I know a bunch of old kats who did very well at it but even they say its not the same anymore. Didnt matter whether they were conductors or in the yard, they all had bad things to say :anonymous:

    The way they shuttle people and shove them all over the tristate area is crazy too. Its a mess.

    Did not know that, thanks. I've been at my current job for over 20years so I'm use to steady employment. The idea of being unemployed scares me.

    I'm not looking for a house in Hagerstown, just employment.

    You all should get Softoppers for your trucks. It'll change your life.:cool:

    On an unrelated note...
    ...I happen to be selling my tan ST off of my 04 XtraCab. :DIt's for 6' longbed and works fine for 1st gen or 2nd gen. Was going to list it maybe next week.

    @NealM00DY .

    I will have to come back here tonight after my work meetings to add details, but PM me with interest all the same.

    Appreciate you letting me know!
    Would love to hear your thoughts on soft-top vs hardtop and their pros and cons.

    The reason I'm leaning towards hardtop is that Id like to camp in my bed and retain some heat and protection from the elements. Also, a paint matching hardtop is a clean look that just can't be beaten with a ST, imo. But I'm not one to be entrenched in any of my beliefs so persuade me haha
