Thank you for this insight, think I'll go this route so I don't have to deal with going to the store with a friend for their Costco membership lol

Alternatively, my home box is a Milwaukee that isn't a ton more expensive than the HF counterpart and it is very nice. The Husky I had was not impressive, very thin and clunky... made the HF feel like a snap on

    Those fuckers

Wife shared a news story with me yesterday that WV is paying people 12k plus a years worth of outdoor event stuff to relocate there, in order to combat the "brain drain" they're currently experiencing

If you want to swing it, Harbor Freight’s Icon boxes are supposed to be the Snap-On killers.

Having moved a bunch across states as a kid (from CA twice), we learned a long time ago never to say you're from CA when you get to the next state. Just lie and say you're from somewhere else.

they must have different lines that they don't do a good job of marketing.

My husky is closer to my matco in material and build than the craftsman

    I have mods
Uhaul used to have diesel trucks back in the 80s/90s. Not sure when they got rid of them tho. You can still find the old diesel uhual moving trucks on CL sometimes.

I'm very disappointed in my Husky top box, every time I open it I consider throwing it onto the floor and just putting the tools on the work surface instead. Craftsman has gone so far downhill that they're the dollar tree of tools now., I'm sure their boxes are no better these days. I have an old, old, old craftsman box around still and it's fairly good though (minus having sliders instead of rollers for the drawers). The Milfukee has hit the price/performance ratio nicely for me. I've had a couple really old Snappy boxes and one MAC but they were so old and weirdly sized I didn't hold onto em after AZ.

my cousin was a marine diesel mechanic and is now captain of her own ship... she's the only one who'd have a use for them

Well... someone mentioned my other cousin's douchebag boyfriend borrowing some of them

The one she has isn't even a Jeep, it's like the Fiat of kids power wheels, we got it off the local neighborhood marketplace for $10 lol.

Wait Jeep is owned by Fiat so I guess that makes it the same thing

I dunno, you seem self aware enough to not have to.

Most people just get annoyed by the "why is Denver SO bORInG compared to LA? Where's the night life? Where's the food culture?" type people who won't shut up about how XYZ place is better
