You bet it's a Good One! You know you have a chunk of steel in your hands holding one of those.
    Very Nice Sir

Everything is hard to find right now! The SP-101 is a little heavy but a good shooter

    Like that about it.
If she's going to carry, I want her shooting it.
I'm afraid a featherweight would have her not wanting to shoot or make her develop a bad flinch.
Need to see how she likes shooting the gp100.

Try to find a .22LR SP-101 in addition to the .357 you are looking for.

The .22LR is a great training round, and, being that it is the same gun, the familiarity of it will go a long way to a feeling of confidence when shooting the larger round.

Same grip, same controls, (almost) same sight coupled with less recoil and less noise. I really enjoy teaching on a .22 and moving to a larger caliber. Even timid students enjoy shooting the "big stuff" once they have gained confidence on a .22.

My Ruger Vaquero 357 "cowboy" action. That whole cowboy part is annoying but she's purdy!

A review of this system popped up in my YouTube recommended videos today. Anyone have any experience with it? It's pricy but may be worth it if ammo shortage continues.

First 10 hours at the gun shop in the books, I’m slowly learning the 4473’s and the compliance officer doesn’t hate me yet. I’m gonna call it a win.

Attention to detail is key. Ask if you're not sure.

I’m getting better at attention to detail.
Yep, I’m very good at asking because I don’t know. I got to learn how to fill out the 4473 with .mil PCS orders, that was a fun experience, it was also my second sale, but I had been involved with 20+ forms by then.

My wife has gone shooting with me since we were dating 38 years ago. Her favorite gun is my Marlin 336A 30/30. Her favorite pistol is a Khar PM9. She has plenty of hours shooting a Ruger MkIII 22 but started shooting 38 spl out of my Ruger Security Six. Eventually working up to magnum loads. Each step of the way I worked with her and made sure she had the right grip, sighting, and breathing techniques. I learned a long time ago from the jerk who gave his wife his 44 magnum to shoot while at an NRA range. Before any of us could get there to intervene...she pulled the trigger and put a permanent part in her forehead. You are wise to have her shoot it, but ultimately she needs to make the educated decision on which one she will carry.

I have two. Both have a three inch barrel, which I think is the best length of all the options (good balance and sight radius). One has an exposed hammer. The other has an internal hammer. Both are great guns. Craftsmanship is noticeably better than Rugers (which I love as well) and Smiths. They both carry well. The trigger is very smooth and crisp. I have yet to find anything I do not like. Good review link below.

It's not really the firing that's annoying, it's the fact that the cylinder doesn't flip out like a normal revolver.

You're right. That's awful. Let me know when/where to pick it up and I'll dispose of the thing for you. :D

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I got it from my biological "father". It even came with a pretty cool fancy leather belt/holster. But the holster is right handed and I shoot left handed.

I’d like to see if he hit the target. Fanning is just for Hollywood. Not to mention very hard and the firearm.

I've seen many video's of him and he makes the hits. I just wonder if he's using full power loads.
