Depends, stock they still leak a ton if you don't keep up on VCGs and they eat head gaskets.

 

driver window is rattling when rolled down all the way and i hit bumps, goes away when rolled up halfway.

The 2.5 is a POS. The 1.8 and 2.0 are much more reliable but still require more maintenance than a Toyota to be reliable. That's the catch with a boxer style engine. Plus they are a pain in the ass to work on.
