Right on. Hell, I could use a few off myself.

 

I'm really hoping I can get back into some good camping once I go to days. I won't have to basically waste a day sleeping to get back into a normal schedule

 

Been there, done that. We have shift changes coming up in the next few weeks with no idea who is going to get stuck with what. Stuck being, permanent weekend day for the next 2 years. Could it be worse?, hell yeah.. but still.

 

I don't understand how a company can think it's ok to fuck over someone and stick them with that schedule. I'd be pissed

 

True that.. You give them everything and then some. Only for them to turn around and make it a constant thing. My thoughts are, they asked for volunteers for a few years paying OT and paid big monies for it, because guys gave up their weekends off to work.. then turn it around to straight time for a perm weekend day shift to save coin because they know they had the opportunist chasing the dollar before. So the change must be ok with everyone.

gotta make the stock holders happy with more coin in their pockets.

it’s not just the private industry with stockholders that does that, been with the state almost 15 years and it’s basically the same, you give give give and they have the gall to ask you for more. I have to stay on overnight if I want to keep my weekends off.
