Blazing Blue Pearl Thread

I got in the sand this last weekend in CA's Superstition OHV...

 

I guess this is my new home now? Just traded in my VERY beloved 2016 Inferno SR5 for a 2017 Blazing Blue Pearl TRDOR cause 2WD was not cutting it anymore.

It’s been a few years since I’ve had to introduce myself and I’m not quite sure what to do with my hands. So here is a photo instead.

Wow! That third brake light is bright under the tailgate! What brand is that and was it plug and play or otherwise easy to install? I don't wanna splice any wires.

 

I got tired of the blue so I decided to paint it mud colour last weekend.

 

Modded the TRD Pro shift knob.

 

Relocated th ECT button.

 

What’s in its place in the OEM location?

 

I'm going to install the ABC switch.
Also, have a digital indicator for camera display to go in the only blank spot. I wish Toyota would have just made the panels the same for all the models with 6x spots for switches.

 

The more I see this color on the truck in all your builds, the more I know I got the best color

It has 2 sizes 60 and 49 inch. I got the 49 inch. It's literally "plug-and-play." Saying that, there is a reverse light built into is as well. I tapped into the reverse light in the towing package. Super bright. So no one can't say they DID NOT see me in reverse.

 

Thanks for the reply! I will look into it. It does say in the deacription if you want reverse lights you gotta splice wires. Did you manage to do it without splicing?

 

I like the old Blazing Blue Pearl way better than Voodoo Blue.

And I never see these on the street. They either didn't make many in this color or maybe didn't distribute them here in the Midwest, but it's rare to spot one in KC.

 

I see em every once in a while a around here but the numbers considering how many I see are very slim

 

I T-tapped into the reverse light wiring running from the 7-pin trailer connector. I've had it on there almost a year w/o any issues. Again, sorry for delayed response.

 

Is that winch line in the shape of a heart on purpose?
