Interesting. I'm not overly hard on my bed but don't need another maintenance item either.

When I got quoted to get my sliders Line-x'ed they wanted $500......for sliders!!! Fuck that. Raptor liner is the way to go.

I went to LineX of Bow, obviously in NH, with my Sierra and I can say they do a top notch job.

Yep, I've got enough in the yard to lube the sliders and cool the sled.. would do a NUMBER on the lawn though!

LineX of Bow charged me $500 to do my Sierra.

Yeah, I got something similar when I called them about sliders a long time ago (when I still actually owned a Tacoma). I think that's the F-U price for something they're not familiar with. I think they have truck beds down to a science, anything else just takes them time to figure out and spray.

This is why I never pull the orange driveway markers out of the ground until May 1. I was going to pull them yesterday, but was sure we'd get a foot of snow if I did.

In the end, that's what I did with my sliders also. I'm not as excited to do that to an entire truck bed. I'd prefer to do that in a garage where it's somewhat more controlled. But that means commandeering my parents' garage since I don't have a place to do it. Just makes a project out of it rather than drop it off and let someone else deal with it.

We Raptor lined my GF's FJ and it turned out fantastic. I was going to suggest it again, but I used Raptor in the bed of my F-250 and I've already chipped it in multiple spots. I'm not sure if the batch was bad? I prepped and primed everything.. Granted, I only did like 1.5-2 coats, but I am pretty disappointed.

I need to do the inner bed sides (in the bed) once I have some downtime, and I'll probably dump like another 6 bottles in the bed for good measure.

I did my sliders with rattlecan bedliner. If I need to touch up I might do a roll on so I don't have to take them off to do them up. We'll see. The intent of them is to beat the shit out of them on the trail (at least, MY intent...) so why would I get an expensive paint job on it that will last one rock slide longer than a rattlecan job? :notsure:

It's possible. Cooper doesn't really hold any OE contracts, but GY has a ton of them, and now that they're purchasing Cooper it wouldn't surprise me. You might see them on the new Tundra TRD's or something, too.

I can tell you this, the LineX I got done was insanely tough. I am pretty sure you couldn't chip it with a hammer and a sharp chisel. And it was at least 3/16" thick. Very durable stuff.

Sorry, I was more referencing the sliders... miscommunication on my part.

I haven't had good luck with contractor applied bedliner to be honest. Last truck with itz it was PEELING. And was told tough...

Line-X is way better, its like 500 for a truck bed it seems of most sizes. Maybe 8 footer is more. I have never seen anyone have an issue with it(when installed correctly).

I put diesel in the back of my truck, and tie downs. Sometimes bring back stuff from HD, or throw in some crap wood from our business to bring home to burn. No super heavy stuff, no hard metals smashing it.... The Raptor Liner really bummed me out big time.

Anything I do in the future a shop will do, the time effort and cost of the product is OVER 500 IMO because I value my time highly. It was a fun project to do once, but I won't do it again.

Same here. My F150 didn't come with a factory bedliner but as part of the purchase agreement they paid for a spray-in and they sent it to the local Linex dealer. That stuff was tough as nails; it didn't have a mark on it when I traded the truck.

I wish my factory spray in was a Line-X. It looks so much better.

The factory one isn't bad, but given it's about the same price if I ordered I would probably skip it and bring it to a Line-X dealer right away.

:rofl:I mean honestly those things are probably going to sell like hot cakes...because its true. In reality most of us with AT/MT's should probably run highway tires and swap to offroad tires for wheeling based on actual time spent offroad. But Cooper is correct, you want your tires to look good too. And highway/ mild AT's look lame.

I confess that this is all my fault. Yesterday I figured it was safe to put the leftover gas from my snow blower into my truck before it went bad. Rookie mistake.

Snow in Taunton and brockton. Wife is currently in the hospital for high blood pressure. Had the night to attempt to do what she does for a 3yr old and a newborn. I have an all new respect for good moms! I'll be alone again tonight, hope she comes back tomorrow.

On a good note Dogecoin!! To the moon. Lol

We've got a dusting on the ground here in Hopkinton and it's still coming down. I think it'll turn back to rain soon. The overnight rain definitely helped to start to fill the lake back up with some standing water now in the swampy section I live on. :bananadance:
