Nice call on the Wheelskins leather. I have one on the Tacoma. I hope you called and asked for an additional roll of thread and did a baseball stitch on the install. When I did mine there was no additional cost for the thread. It has been over 10 years since the install but it still looks great even with the wear.

    Morning all:
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Lynn Mark!

Welcome to the porch Tim, you will need a few cases of beer, some spirits, and a few cases of soda pop to fill the cooler. Since you're from PA, root beer, birch beer, and sarsaparilla will be just fine!
    Also, happy birthday!!!

I don't know when I started installing steering wheel covers, but since I did I have had one on every vehicle except for the 66. At first it felt like the steering wheel was about 2X thicker, but have gotten used to it and don't even notice it anymore. I just use the cheap slip on ones available at the auto parts stores, and they look decent and hold up pretty well, but the Wheelskin cover looks really nice.
I remember some steering wheel covers years ago that had small holes all over them and were held in place using plastic gimp, most of those looked like crap!

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gal! Happy Friday if you need another Friday in the week! Ugly and grey here, and we've crept to a whopping 0.07" in the last day, but nothing like the Hail for our friends North of Austin!

Happy Birthday and welcome Tim. I'll have that beer in a couple hours! How about a pic of the Taco?

Happy Birthday to Lynn, Mark. :proposetoast:

Not much on the agenda today, but the weather is perfect for it. Got a cardio image in the AM, and a phone call with a financial guy in the PM.

    Have a good 'un all!

Welcome to the porch. Great place to chat about "almost" anything. Terrific group on here and you didn't have to wait until you were 60. We have a few youngsters that stop in from time to time and check up on us. Enjoy.

Also, Thank You for your service. :oldglory:

    Good morning all,

Happy birthday to Lynn, hope you two have a wonderful day celebrating.

Welcome to the group Tim, great bunch of people here or as Rob puts it "Cool Old Dudes and Susan" Susan is cool too - 'Respect'

Woke to 6" of snow and an ice base - it started freezing rain last night and turned to snow sometime after 2000. Slick roads and I am NOT going to plow, more snow for the next two to three days and the ground is thawed so we will let it melt. We were down to the only snow/ice was where it had built up from plowing all winter. As usual - no complaints good wet spring to help offset our summer fire season. The pups love snow they just go nuts in the morning when there is fresh snow, Agnes (11 mnth red field golden) can't get enough of rolling and running in the stuff. Boris (4 cream golden) loves to roll in it as well but would rather just lay in it - crazy...

Ski slopes are closing this weekend but are getting a lot of business with this snow - Breck got almost a foot of new powder last night.

Have a great day everyone and as usual - stay safe out there.

    Thanks guys!
Cleaning house and cutting grass today. I watched our 1 year old granddaughter yesterday and late today my oldest daughter and my grandson are arriving from Dayton later for the weekend. My son in law is in the USAF and is being transferred to San Angelo Texas next month so I won’t be seeing these guys for a while :(
Wifey working until 4, going to be a fun but tiring weekend.

OMG, don't look in my garage for another month - winter residual (need to clean and put winter support equipment away). Yearly spring garage cleaning will happen sometime in early May.

Here is a few shots from my office windows - sun is out next waive expected after lunch:

Definitely like the color Tim :D. Waiting on my tonneau cover, side steps and seat covers from Wet Okole.

Thank Your son in Law for his service :oldglory:. Tim I hope you and your wife enjoy the time with the Grand kids this weekend.

Always enjoy the Grand kids, mine are all local except my one Grand daughter who is in North Carolina. See her occasionally when we did our Florida trip or she comes up home for a visit.

I'll pass along a beer. Stout, Porter, Ale.

That garage is way too clean!

What is your son-in-law doing in San Angelo? Not too far from Austin, sounds like a good reason for a road trip and kidnap someone for BBQ and welcome to Texas.

There is a guy in Austin that rents his BD9 on Turo. Good reason to fly into AUS, pick up the DB9 and visit the kids! :) Austin to San Angelo is a pretty drive.

I'm getting old enough that it is just fun to get a Porsche Carrera for one weekend. :) Young enough to enjoy nice wheels, old enough to take it easy with someone else's wheels!

My wife looked at the Tacoma and said, "looks more like Chulapa than a Taco". Nothing like Central Texas hail storms, but it could have been much worse.

    Happy Birthday to Lynn !

    Welcome Tim :hattip:

Hope you get all right stuff in your hearing aids Tom

We made it out to cabin yesterday with no issues, although the trail is getting pretty sloppy. Brought out enough critter feed to last 6 weeks, as next few weeks will probably only be able to get out on wheelers. Stiil impressed with Stitch's ATRAC...tech that works.

Have a great day, be safe, stay happy.:)

Thanks guys, son in law is a tech sgt, 15 years of service. He does medical laboratory work, he’ll be in charge of the lab in the hospital where they’re going. His job is going to be a great Segway to the private sector when he has his 20 in. Sucks that we can’t drive out to see them anymore though.
