Hello all i have a 2017 tacoma and I installed some Caliraised lights using their switches and the switch panel I also installed an ARB compressor but that swiths wont fit in the OEM hole any suggestions on alternate switches or install tips. I expanded the port and got the switch to fit but the panel is too reassessed and you cant operate the rocker switch

Meso customs for switch panels. Or try ch4x4.

I have a 2010 2.7 4x4 that was not prewired at the factory for fog lights, and i’d like to add the OEM fogs to the truck. Does anyone know if there is a company that makes a wiring harness with the relay and factory switch connector that would be semi plug and play? I already have the OEM fogs and want to use the OEM switch, so I don’t want to buy something like the Winjet fog kit just to get their wiring harness.

You could go with something like THIS for your switch, just cut the ends off of your OEM fogs, and build your own wiring harness. With a little bit of wire, a 12v relay, and some tools you could do it pretty easily. I could walk you through it no problem. It would save you a decent chunk of change along the way.

Hell, flip me a few bucks for my time and the cost of the parts and I could probably make you something pnp...

I might take you up on the offer... I don’t have much experience with electrical wiring and i’m afraid i’m going to burn the truck down if I attempt to make my own harness!

Anyone know where I can find plug and play male plug for this white receptacle? It is for the dimmer circuit tied into the headlights. The female was just hanging there so I thought if a can get a matching plug could use as dimmer for multiple add on switches. It only has the one green wire in a 5 prong plug. Located left of steering wheel.

Not particularly. Member Havoc showed me something I hadn’t known before in that each oem switch is wired to these two dash light junctions and that rather than using T-taps or buying expensive break out harnesses you can diy with these terminals and some wire or plug/play with terminal repair wires. Just spreading the news a bit.

Would a 12v relay work for wiring 12 lights? I got a new AL roof rack and I plan on mounting 12 DDS4 PRO lights on it. I was hoping to find a solid write-up on it and this is the best thread that I found. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Add up the current requirements for each light and if the total is less than the limit of the relay then you’re gtg. If it’s close you can trigger 2 relays from the same switch to divide the power draw. Current equals wattage divided by 12V.
Dds4 pro’s are 60w each pod so 5A per and 60A for 12 lights, too much for a single standard relay though you can get one to handle it. Dude that’s a shit load of light(72000 lumens). Consider reducing the number or having independently switched zones. I hope you have big batteries.

    Hello,

First post please be gentle. I have a 2012 Tacoma SR5 4x4. I bought an aftermarket Toyota LED emblem that lights up. I would like to have it on with just the two front end yellow lights that stay on all the time. Not sure if these are considered DRL or not. Am I able to splice in from the very front of the vehicle? I am attaching an image of what the company Aoonu.com gave me. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
