Yeah definitely. I agree with another person on that YT video about how he'd be even bigger today with Twitter at his fingertips, given his style.

Although on the other hand, maybe not...given what happened to him in the end. Maybe would have just happened even quicker, guess we'll never know

You're the reason why foreign engine manufacturers have to create a non interference version of motors for the US:laughing:

It's less Tacoma and more mod
When ford asked Nissan to make the engine for the original aerostar Nissan said they would but they didn't want a bed reputation for supplying them so they agreed to reduce the power output to make a non-interference version of the VG30E because their metrics showed Ford owners rarely if ever did recommended maintenance if it wasn't a pickup or SUV

We had one of those Aerostars back in the 80s, I remember the day my dad drove it home..I was probably 3 yrs old.

No idea how it fared in the long run, my dad was one of those guys that had to get a new vehicle every couple years. We had a ton of different family cars growing up

I'm not sure whats worse, fixing other peoples source code, or their word documents.

I think my parents windstar made it to 225k with the 3 factory plugs on the back of the motor before they got rid of it. OTOH motor had to be pulled to replace them

My brother's wife had a Kia Soul for a long time, we always called it the Hamster mobile because of the commercials. I got to drive it from LA up to Oregon when they moved up there. Any time you'd mash the gas pedal it would send a big white cloud of smoke out the tail pipe, my brother said it had always done that lol. They got rid of it a year or so ago.

Todays source code expedition may required stepping up to alcohol, haven't had it that bad in a few weeks.

This was the EXACT example I was thinking of! The aerostar is my favorite van of the 90s hands down.. did you know it had a better drag coefficient than any other Ford or Lincoln production car at the time?

Huh... Definitely not supposed to happen, the wife's car never does it lol

The injectors are loud AF tho, kept thinking it was her valves clicking but a stethoscope showed me the noise is coming from the injectors themselves... Kia Soul forum members seem to agree with me for the most part

should i keep my sway bar in the front when i tear into it, or no?

I thought about removing it, but with the shell and being so heavy when we go camping is it a bad idea? Generally i heard from peeps u go big like 31s on a 5 lug itll do better without it
