Mine was like this on my 2005. About a year later I could put a softball through the hole. Trade it in now if you aren’t going to try and repair it

 

My 2005 did this... looked minor but the problem is it rusting from the inside out. You can only see where it’s rusted all the way through SO FAR. It’ll get worse fast.

 

Yea I spoke to toyota and was told to kick rocks unfortunately. I'll be getting this in to trade pretty soon most likely. I hate not to fix it but I really don't have time to deal with it.

edit, it’s way easier to get a shorter legal barrel by just buying a pistol lower and matching it with the size you want.. SBR’s take forever, more money and it’s just more regulation for me to carry it in a backpack. I wanted this for daily carry in my computer bag
