I will say they definitely do their job well! There were gobs of mud flying everywhere. I really wish I had a video from when I came back up the hill by the pond. Traction control turned off, 4HI, and just standing on the gas to keep moving! I don't think of myself as a "mudder," but it's nice knowing you can get through it if necessary.

    It’s Friday!

Just picked up my truck at work. I forgot I left my cooler from Wednesdays Tailgating at Miller park in my back seat. These Lifetime Coolers are pretty bad ass for $100.

Now that I’m home do I cut the grass or do I drink beer that’s been on ice for 2 days? Hmmmm.

My wife is working from home and I think the lawnmower and weed trimmer will disturb her.

    I should just drink beer.

I'm very impressed with mine as well. I still had some ice left yesterday after a week, and it wasn't even latched the last few days. Obviously not summer conditions, but I have had it keep ice for 4 days in the summer.

I'm sure your wife will appreciate the peace and quiet.

Also, if Russ posts any pictures from yesterday, I'd love it if you could post up in here. I didn't get any good pictures of the scene as a whole.

Thanks! He might be there repairing the ruts today, so maybe he's just busy. I just was curious because I saw him taking pictures while I was trying to get back out of there.

    Traded it in.

I have the 28 quart one and love it. Its just as good if not better than the Yeti of comparable same size I've used.

Looks like enough mud to thoroughly cover up all the pin stripes from the rear misadventure a couple years ago lol

The sports have a LOT less prowess than anything TRDOR from Toyota

I slid into the ditch over the winter and aside from my 1st gen Prerunner anything else Toyota in my stable would've driven out. Instead I had to wait with my tow strap in hand and thumb out until an F150 saved the day.

It’s a sad day when you gotta be saved by a f150

Dude it was a helluva day, worst in recent memory, still got a pain in the friendlies from that BS:rofl:

Came incredibly close to him pulling me into a telephone pole, but somehow I managed to miss it. I saw it happening in slow motion and had no way of telling the effer to stop. Literally squinted and waited for the crunch. The way the day was going I can't believe my truck was undamaged.

    Humbling moment.

It was a steep 6 ft bank that I couldn’t get squared up to, needed that locker back there for my 3rd wheel when it’d articulate.

Either of my FJs would’ve walked out lol, but it would’ve been great to be locked in anything really.

Also would’ve been great if the person (who kept right on going) that made me grab the shoulder in the 1st place wasn’t in the middle of an unplowed narrow 2 lane but, my fault going that way I guess!
