Hoping that someone here might be able to help me or guide me to the right direction to find this info out. So I went to Texas a few months back and while in town picked up a set of sliders from another member who lives there. I helped him take it off his truck, and when we went to put the bolts on for mine, we noticed the holes down line up. We both had 2016+ Double cab short bed OR models, and he did tell me he had to drill 2 holes on each side of the frame for his truck when we saw that. Either way, it's not something I wanna try and get installed on my truck anymore, and want to sell them. Is there anyway I can go about figuring out what they fit on? I don't wanna be a dick and just claim they're for a certain truck and screw the next guy over like this guy did with me. The length is perfect with the cab, and would work perfectly just don't line up mounting wise for the holes on the frame, so maybe for a 2nd gen only? I'm honestly not sure, any help is appreciated.

You're more than welcome to stop by with them at my house to see if there are any holes that line up on my frame to see if they fit a 2nd gen. If it were me, I'd just have a 3rd mounting bar added and have them welded to my frame as weld on sliders.

That's what Cory suggested as well as an option, and thought about it but then I'd have to get them cut off really clean if I ever switched up. I'm still debating that option honestly, but would rather sell em if I can get them identified. I might swing by if I get some time next week. I know you're a busy man too rn lol, plus we'd have to take yours off too

I dont think we would have to remove mine. We would just see where yours mount and see if theres a hole there where the mount would go on my frame. Shouldn't be too hard. I think mine used pretty much all the available premade holes in my frame anyways so if where yours go, theres already a bolt there then thats our answer.

I wouldn't worry about listing it for whatever gen it is supposed to be listed for. Many, if not most, bolt on sliders (in my experience) require at least one hole to be drilled.

I had bolt on Shrockworks sliders on my 4Runner that required drilling holes for 1 of the bolts. I opted to just leave it as is and never drilled.

I'm surprised at the miminal damage that happened on that trail, considering how intense it was for what vehicles made it.

I personally lost my starter, CPS (could've been a coincidence but who knows)

@TRD Tyler busted tail light and got water damage in the cab. We both had starter issues, and i slightly messed up add. Pretty sure @pdaddy bent his frame? Think someone had a bumper issue in that 4runner.

Yeah the headlight was just straight up unfortunate. The very first obstacles and it went. The water damage was a little self inflicted (surprising it wasn't from the stupid deep water crossings) and this is the first I've heard of bent frame from @pdaddy
