Cilantro or CilantNO

Can't have Indian, Vietnamese, South American or Tex-Mex cuisine without chopped fresh cilantro.

I realize some people have a genetic a
affliction that does not allow them to appreciate the heavenly aroma and flavor of cilantro. I don't hate them because I know it's not their fault. But I do weep for them.

I had some pad thai on Easter and it was absolutely loaded with cilantro.

Ya'll say we have the mutant gene that makes cilantro taste like ass...like it's a bad thing.

I'll admit it is kind of a weed. It's limp and pathetic and spoils as soon as you cut it with a knife

It's hard to describe the subtle layer of flavor that it adds to dishes.. but it ain't soap!

Tacos aren't the same without it, it's in lots of Asian food. There's cilantro leaves and twigs wrapped up in Vietnamese summer rolls and they are good af.

I'm in the small percentage of people for whom cilantro tastes like soap. So that's a HELL NO from me.

If you dampen a paper towel, lay it flat in a ziplock bag, add the cilantro in the ziplock, push as much air out, seal and the cilantro will stay fresh longer

 

If you lay it flat in the bottom of the trash bag and fill accordingly, it will stay fresh till the truck comes on Tuesday!
