What if you sold the store first; store gone...still have a place to live?

That’s what complicates the situation. They are both under one dead, it’s like the store doesn’t exist and people can’t get a loan for the amount we want.

In keeping with the theme of totally fuckered sprockets... F0F8BAE3-4542-48AB-B378-7561D9CFB489.jpgI haven't come across many sprockets where the keyway is 180 off the shaft, but here we are. No key left in either keyway. My high torque 1/2 inch Milwaukee on the end of our heavy duty 3 jaw puller, in combination with a 10 lb sledge, wouldn't budge that sprocket. The shaft is part of a gearbox which we don't have a replacement for, so we put it all back together until we get a spare gearbox since the shaft is in all likelihood, royally dicked.

That shaft looks like it has a shim on it too. That’s a hot mess

Best of luck with yours, we had it all apart and started putting sheet rock back up within 30 hours.

Yes sir. Share a well too. Each has its own septic system though. It could be rezoned and split but it would be expensive cause the store. It’s been this way since 1951.

No shim, probably what's left of the key after it finished friction welding the sprocket to the shaft.

Edit: ignore me, I see what you're taking about now. It's just a groove that all that manufacturers gearboxes have on their shaft. No idea why though.

@BananaMan An OA torch will take that sprocket off pretty quick w/o even marking the shaft. That thin cylinder is probably a sleeve that repaired the boogered shaft after the key disintegrated.

I know lots of people that way and I understand. The only ones we have to worry about here are mostly out of the way.

Beautiful sunrise this morning. We had a tom and 2 hens come out, heard several gobble on the roost before we saw these. This tom hung up about 80-90 yards and wouldn’t come to us. I don’t blame him being with those two hens. I did get him to gobble to us and Cole is hooked. We saw two more hens on the way out.
