    They weren't very common, even up here in Canada.

    We saw more 4WD corollas and tercels (I miss mine)

    Servicing them was awful, but back then it was not common place to drop the engine and transaxle for servicing.

    I liked the Camry wagon with its 2 rear wipers best.

    Right before Toyota phased out the Scion brand, they came out with two new models called the iA and the iM; Once Scion was gone, they rebadged them as Toyotas and sold them under the names of Yaris iA and Corolla iM for a year or so. This is a Yaris iA; The Corolla iM seems a hell of a lot more common, so I’m thinking these might be super rare in 20-30 years like the 1991-1998 Tercel is now...

    Still wouldn't be able to register it in California because ALL vehicles newer than 1975 must pass smog there; California sucks...
