    Oh god I don’t know how you’ve done it. I had a 9/15 build (purchased November 15) and it was being traded 2/17 and gonezo 4/17 when my new truck arrived

    The update information on how flash kit users can update to VF remote will be posted this weekend.
    At the moment we are focused on clearing out emails though so I won't be available for a response on here.

    I honestly don't know! Summer of 2016 (truck was still less than a year old at this point) I went back to another dealer in a different city to look at a 2014 Tundra that was similar to my 2009 CMax. ALLLLLmost went with it but they wouldn't give me enough back on my 2016 and I had under 10K on it where the 2014 Tundra was around 45k. In hindsight, I kinda wish I went back to the Tundra now that I've got a kid and one on the way in just a number of weeks. But for now, Taco is it as I'm not giong to be able to afford a change unless it's straight even to another 80K mile older model year Tundra or something. Current plan now that tunes have dramatically helped is just to keep the Taco until we have a 3rd and need a crew cab to fit the carseats, haha!

    After my experience with this Tacoma though, I now have no qualms looking at other makes, and I was 100% Toyota. I'd consider an F150 even. I love my LS1 Camaro, but don't really love the 5.3L in the current Chevy's. 2018+ 5.0 is tempting, EcoBoost is great but. It just doesn't sound right. I need another V8 in my life and they're slowly going away unless your name is Dodge.

    Yes! Thank you! :thumbsup::amen:

    Edit: Got a response to my ZenDesk email from 3/7, woot! Let’s get this train rolling.

    Is it OK to flash someone else’s truck, or do you have to be a pro tuner? I know things are changing and just want to be legit.

    At least put a nice linseed oil on your shift knob.

    It's absolutely mind boggling to me that I can spend $400 on something and it's taking this long to get it "activated".

    Did you look in your spam folder? Lots of master keys have ended up there.

    Nada. I sent a picture of my VIN and ID to them and had somebody respond that they couldn't see my photo so I sent them the ID typed out and still haven't heard back.

    Cool. I guess in reality we just do it with my hardware if he wants to get tunes.....although someone else’s truck would be the place to learn. . Slowly but surely. I did up my charging levels for an AGM battery by following what people posted here. Little adjustments are just gravy. So is everyone’s collaboration. That’s the brilliance of the system.
