    @Kwikvette

    Dropped my skid plate today to do some maintenance....big ol gear oil stain from a puking axle seal.... The same one I replaced several months ago :annoyed:

    Apparently my 'let the axle drive the seal in' technique didn't work as well as I'd thought

    The good news though it's that it only took a few pumps to top off the front diff so it didn't get dangerously low. But now I gotta do that fucking thing again

    A lot more thought went into an LC/LX as far as build and everything else goes.

    It's been tested in multiple countries :burp:

    I bought a seal driver kit to use last time but it required using a lot of force and still wouldn't budge the seal, started getting afraid of breaking it. Gonna buy two new seals this time around and try it again with the driver

    Hmm I don't have a seal puller/drive kit.

    What one do you recommend?

    I got this one for $30 on Amazon

    https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FOrionMotorTech-Carrying-Universal-Aluminum-Automotive%2Fdp%2FB07DC31TB3&ved=2ahUKEwjCh6yCp4bwAhWCt54KHUMqD3wQFjAAegQIBhAC&usg=AOvVaw2hs5acAoTj-p8jWNdHX0wz

    I've also heard you can just use a section of PVC pipe, I forget the size though. It's in Timmahs video on doing the seals

    I just used a screwdriver to pop the old one out

    I'll just buy the kit; never know when I could use the it again.

    I've got 3 replacement cv axle seals, not sure why. But yeah I need to take care of it as it seeps lightly.
