On the day it was announced on the news the checks are being sent out, mine went direct deposit that day.

It sounds like you were uninjured, so no amount of money equals being injury-free and healthy. I hope the driver that got rear-ended walked injury-free too. :fingerscrossed:

I sent the IRS my bank account number so the last $1200 stimulus check could be sent electronically but they still sent me a check.

Yes, uninjured, both of us. Luckily.

I believe what happened, he was on his phone, looked up to see the light had just turned yellow, to the right a motorcycle cop, I mean he went 45mph to stop in about 25 feet, seemed like. I was back about 4-5 car lengths, I had no chance with gvw about 9k lbs.

Sorry to hear that, my previous truck was a Nissan, one of the reasons I bought that model was having a car totaled after the truck came into my lane from the opposite way and see how well it held up.

We qualified for stimulus although it wasn’t necessary. Since the government decided to give me some of my tax dollars back, the wife and I bought a couple of 9mm’s and AR15. Spent time at gun range while weather was shit this winter.
