Thinking about buying coastal off-road high clearance diy bumper. Reasonable price and weight. Was thinking about trail gear tube bumper but this option is a bit easier on the wallet

Are you going to weld it yourself? The kit is cheaper but if you gotta pay someone to weld it up it might not be less in the end. The TG bumper is pretty cheap for a ready to install one

That said I think the Coastal one looks a lot better

Buying a welder would be a worthy investment though.

I've been trying to convince myself to pull the trigger for awhile now lol.

Might use the HF gift cards I'll be getting for bday toward a 110v one I can use here at this house.

I never ask for anything so my family just defaults to Harbor Freight gift cards lol

My buddy said I could use his welder! So I opened up my options. I was looking for a diy and this looks like the best looking IMO

Yeah I seriously can't wait to get one.

Then I'll be posting pics of all my shitty try-hard welds and take criticism from everyone. Watch some youtube videos too while I'm at it.

You already know you're moving, I'd be surprised if you bought one before you moved.

Yeah but it could still be a ways out and if I put it off till then, I'll probably put it off after the move due to the expenses that will involve. Rather get it sooner than later and get some practice in

Question, what do y'all do about a significant amount of rust in a cooling system... My 96 Camry has a shit ton of it everywhere

I ran the more expencive blue devil rad flush for a few days and the coolant became disgusting, but it's still rusty as shit inside the heater hoses thermostat housing etc.

    What do y'all do?
