Little of this, little of that.
Anyone having issues downloading the new version of vF Tuner? I'm trying the link on their website and I'm getting this error:

I'm curious how it goes for you. For me, I ordered the software and cable, got it a few days later. Downloaded the software and now I have been waiting almost two weeks for them to email me the master key! I have all my kdmax files as well, no problem their either. I have sent multiple pm's and emails to vftuner.com with no response back other than the auto response emails from their zendesk support. Super frustrating and it's starting to piss me off... Oh and I did check all my spam and trash folders. Good luck!

I will check this today but are you checking the email you used to make the order with?
I don't think we have any orders that far. Out with no keys made

Looking to try this out on my 19’. Are there any upcoming events/meets for this in the Kansas City area? Looks like the closest tuner is in Arkansas?
    Thanks in advance!

This tune is awesome. I live in a slowpoke putt-putt around area so I highly recommend the lightest throttle if you live in a similar situation. Shifting & acceleration is smooth, better gas mileage and PapaRee support is second to none. If you have a small adjustment you would like, he get it done immediately. Money well spent. My only complaint, I wish I lived somewhere that people weren’t afraid of their gas pedals.

Did the 6.0 Prem XT and throttle response is definitely better, a little better at lower rpms and instant at higher rpms. I've got 500lbs+ of armor, skids, winch, etc. Only drove a few miles stop and go, I'll test it out on the highway which will be a good test.

Got the KD max tune (slt- I’m on 265’s) today and after doing city and highway driving today, I can say that the truck drives MUCH smoother and the throttle response is exactly as it should be on this truck.

The truck no longer does that annoying lag and then rocket thing that it used to when you try to accelerate. Feels more powerful and smoother

Definitely worth it to me. I’ve got no regrets with this mod. That drive back to NM from Pheonix should be a lot more enjoyable now :D

There was some guy down south who was in town offering tune up's but it felt too fishy because he was pushing people to get the Kruiser 4.0 over the Ver 6.

    Any reason why?

Because he may not have full access to all the 6.0 tunes. K4.0 was mostly free, posted on TW, and unlocked so it could be pirated. 6.0 has more controlled availability and is locked so it is harder to sell unless you are part of the team @PapaRee and @TWTaco have assembled.

6.0 is a much more refined tune. It would be hard to make the argument that 4.0 is better after spending time on both.

Please pm me your order number, because we don't have any 2 week old orders with no master keys sent. I just verified the list.

Well, did many roll races today with a bone stock ‘21 OR with my ‘21 OR on the newest 6.0 SLT Regular. Sadly, there was no benefit seen. Absolutely dead even down to the inch. Granted I have 265/75 but that’s barely a difference. I also have the s&b intake. I was a bit shocked that I couldn’t pull.

The bigger tires are like a 4% taller gear, so that is not insignificant. The intake is only hurting performance unless your are tuned for whatever changes it makes to the MAF scaling.

I have been through over a dozen different tunes from various sources. I love KDmax, been running it for quite awhile now. This is exactly how it should come from the factory!! Power when you need it, smooth shifts, no gear hunting, behavior either in low speed or high speed situations is predictable and logical. I'm getting 17 mpg in the city and about 20-21 on highway w/33's. @PapaRee & @TWTaco , You guys deserve a gold star and a lot of beer money! ☺️

bigger tires are also heavier. More weight further out takes more power to turn.
