Ranch Echo topper

 

I figured so. I've searched and searched the internet but nothing comes up.

 

Can anyone please tell me the distance between the roof tracks on a A.R.E topper for a 3rd gen toyota?

 

Nice. These Ranch toppers seem like a good value.

 

For my uses I've never needed side access so sliders are fine for me. I store everything under the platform so I can only access it from the back anyways. The only time I’ve even used the sliders is when I put my dog in the back I’ll crack both sides open so he gets some fresh air and breeze.

 

Not on an ARE cap, but on my Ranch it's roughly the same as the cab of the truck.

My Yakima racks were adjustable so it really didn't matter how far apart they were.

 

I found a rack on CL but I don’t want to use the Yakima racks, trying to limit vehicle height... so I’m looking at the feasibility of creating/copying a low profile mount for the rack

 

Long time lurker and I finally found my Cap.. On Craigslist no less! ARE cx 100 maybe? color matched, walking away happy for $750.

 

Looks good! That may be the v-series, I think the difference is the windows. There may be a plaque on the inside of the cap that says the model (my cx has one there along with the color it was painted from the factory)

 

Just checked and saw that it is indeed a V series. Just super excited to add a drawer system and take it out camping.

But first Im going to weatherproof the crap out of it. Already seeing water at the corners.

 

The front is the biggest culprit. The bed rail caps are higher than the front bed wall which creates hard to seal spots at each front corner. Also the caps don’t overhang the front like they do on the sides.

Which one looks better? I definitely like the gray one a lot for camping, and got a great deal on it. Gonna sell off the paint matched one to free up cash for other ventures.

Those are Stealth Custom Series F5’s. Sometimes they’re in stock, but you gotta jump on them quick cause they sell like hot cakes.
