I have a vertical 4 rod holder in a similar position on the port side of my 16' boat, and it does hinder casting a little, but not as much as it would if I didn't favor casting on the starboard side. I actually want to move them to layed down on the deck lol, but I have a small front deck with only enough room for 1 fisherman anyway.

 

Yep, smaller caliber semi auto would be great too. I kinda want a revolver laying around too though, whether she uses it or not. I just love my friends S&W hammerless 38 special for the simplicity.

I don't think my wife could pull the trigger on a revolver.
Last one I shot had a trigger pull a country mile long and was a good amount force needed. Think it was a Taurus.

You can get a pretty good trigger on a revolver. The trigger on my Ruger is way better than the trigger on my EAA.

 

Done, sliced, and now all gone.

 

that’s why I’m moving them. Or thinking of moving them.

I could understand do not refreeze after it is completely melted. that pretty much ruins things.
